Work With Me

Sometimes organisations just need the right outside

voice in the room.

Not every engagement is a six-month programme. Sometimes what a team needs is a skilled facilitator who can get into the room, ask the questions nobody else is asking, and help people move forward together. That is what this is.

WORKING GENIUS

Stop judging your team. Start understanding them.

Patrick Lencioni's Working Genius framework is one of the most practical team tools available.

In a single workshop, teams discover their natural genius and frustrations, and more importantly, they start to understand why the person who was driving them mad is actually essential to the team.

Tracey is a certified Working Genius facilitator with deep experience running these sessions across a wide range of industries.

What teams leave with:

  • A clear picture of individual genius and frustration zones

  • A shared language for how they work together

  • Compassion replacing judgement

  • A practical plan for working better as a team

CLIFTONSTRENGTHS

14 years of helping teams see each other differently.

CliftonStrengths is not a personality test. It is a lens. When a team understands each other's strengths, everything changes. Conversations become more generous. Collaboration becomes more intentional. And the things that used to create friction start to make sense.

Best suited for:

  • New teams building trust quickly

  • Existing teams stuck in old patterns

  • Leadership teams wanting a shared language

STRATEGIC SESSIONS AND BOARD FACILITATION

Strategic Sessions, Board Facilitation and Leadership Team Planning

Sometimes a leadership team or board needs a skilled outside facilitator, someone who can hold the room, ask the hard questions, and help people move from analysis to real decisions. Tracey brings a structured approach to strategic sessions that takes boards and leadership teams from environmental scanning through to clear priorities, named ownership, and genuine alignment. She's known for her ability to name what everyone in the room is thinking, but nobody has said and for creating the conditions where honest, courageous conversations actually happen.

Tracey works with:

  • CEOs and senior leadership teams on strategic planning

  • Boards on governance, direction and culture

  • Organisations navigating change, growth or transition

These engagements are tailored to the specific needs of the organisation. No templates. No generic agendas. Real work, in the room, together.

CEO AND LEADER COACHING

Leadership can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be.

Sometimes you do not need a full organisational programme. You need someone in your corner on a regular basis. Someone who knows what it is like to carry the weight of leadership, asks the questions nobody else is asking, and helps you think more clearly about what actually matters.

Monthly one-on-one coaching for CEOs and senior leaders. No long-term commitment required. Just a consistent space to think, reflect and lead better.

This is for you if you are navigating growth, building a leadership team, facing a hard decision, or simply carrying more than you can talk about with the people around you.

Good questions. Honest answers

What is Working Genius and how does it help teams?

Working Genius is a team effectiveness framework developed by Patrick Lencioni. It identifies six types of working genius: Wonder, Invention, Discernment, Galvanising, Enablement, and Tenacity. Every person has two areas of genius (work that gives them energy), two areas of competency (work they can do but that drains them), and two areas of frustration (work that depletes them quickly).

When a team understands each other's genius and frustrations, something shifts. The things that were creating tension start to make sense. The person who was driving everyone mad is not annoying. They are working in their frustration zone. Understanding that replaces judgement with compassion. And that changes everything about how a team works together.

Is there a Working Genius certified facilitator in Hamilton or Waikato?

Yes. Tracey Olivier is a certified Working Genius facilitator based in Cambridge, Waikato. She runs Working Genius workshops for teams across Hamilton, Waikato and throughout New Zealand. She is happy to travel for the right engagement.

What is CliftonStrengths and how is it different from Working Genius?

individuals and teams understand what they are naturally good at and how to use those talents more intentionally.

Working Genius is more focused on the type of work that gives people energy or drains them within a team context. Both are powerful tools and they work well together.

Tracey has 14 years of experience with CliftonStrengths and is a certified Working Genius facilitator. She offers Top 5 CliftonStrengths sessions for teams and can advise on which tool or combination is right for your situation.

Is there a strategic facilitator in Waikato or Hamilton?

Yes. Tracey Olivier is a leadership consultant and strategic facilitator based in Cambridge, Waikato. She works with leadership teams and boards on strategic clarity, annual planning, and organisational alignment. She facilitates sessions in Hamilton, throughout the Waikato region, and across New Zealand.

What team building options are available in Waikato?

These sessions help teams understand each other better, work more effectively together, and address the real dynamics that are holding them back. They are practical, evidence-based, and built for busy teams that need something that actually works.

Do I need to commit to a long programme to work with Tracey one on one?

No. Monthly one-on-one coaching is available as a standalone offering. No long-term commitment required. You start when you are ready and continue for as long as it is useful. Most leaders find that having a consistent monthly space to think and reflect becomes something they do not want to give up.

What does CEO coaching with Tracey actually look like?

It is a monthly one-on-one session, typically 60 to 90 minutes. It is not therapy and it is not consulting. It is a structured thinking space where you can be honest about what is actually going on, work through the questions you cannot ask the people around you, and leave with more clarity than you arrived with. Some leaders use it to work through a specific challenge. Others use it as an ongoing sounding board. It adapts to what you need.

Who is the monthly coaching for?

It is for CEOs, founders and senior leaders who are carrying real responsibility and want consistent outside support. You do not need to be in crisis. In fact the leaders who get the most out of it are the ones who are doing well and want to keep growing. If you are curious, the best next step is a conversation.

Do you run strategy sessions for boards and leadership teams?

Yes. Tracey facilitates strategic planning sessions, annual planning days, and governance strategy sessions for boards and leadership teams across New Zealand.

These sessions are not generic agenda-driven days. Tracey works with you in advance to understand what the real questions are, then designs a session that helps your board or leadership team think clearly, make the hard decisions, and leave with genuine alignment and a clear plan forward.

She is based in Waikato and regularly facilitates sessions in Hamilton and throughout New Zealand.
